Banana Oatmeal Bread Recipe

1 cup all purpose flour

1 cup whole wheat flour

1 cup rolled oats

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup smart balance margarine

1 egg, slightly beaten

1 cup mashed bananas (3-4)

5 T milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Sift together flours, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, cream together sugar and butter. Add egg, bananas, and milk. Mix completely and fold into flour mixture. Pour into greased bread pan and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until toothpick comes back clean with the center of the bread is pierced.
